Profit Per Load Calculator
Estimate gross profit after fuel, non-fuel cost, deadhead, and accessorials.
Use this whenUse it for single-load decisions where accessorials, diesel, and repositioning all matter.
Load profit check
Combine linehaul, accessorials, fuel, and truck cost into one load-level profit number.
Linehaul plus accessorials.
Fuel spend across loaded and empty miles.
Maintenance, fixed cost, insurance, and other reserves.
Load review
Check the load in this order
1
Start with total revenue, including confirmed accessorials only.
2
Add deadhead to the trip before fuel and non-fuel cost are calculated.
3
If profit is thin, rerun the load with slower MPG or longer wait time.
Decision rule
A positive number is not always a good load.
Compare the profit to the time the truck is tied up. A smaller profit on a one-day turn can beat a bigger number on a three-day drag.
